Charmission’s founder, Angie Guo, began her career in the travel industry, focusing on inbound travel, in 1999. Most of our team members have worked together for over a decade, evolving into close teammates and friends. In a sense, the team has been instrumental in the company's foundation, as they share the same core values and aspirations. Without this shared vision, launching the company would not have been possible.
As you can see from the picture which was taken during our team trip to Nepal in January 2019, all our staff members are women - a development that was not planned but happened organically. There's a unique bond within an all-women team: We empathize with each other, especially as working mothers. We value enjoying life, caring for our families, and dedicating quality time to them, all while striving for professional excellence and significant accomplishments at work. Colleagues experiencing pregnancy-related discomfort, new mothers needing time with their babies, and those with school or hospital responsibilities are all granted unrestricted time off and flexibility.
