As residents of China, we are continuously amazed by the speed at which the country is developing. It seems that every few months, we hear about a new high-speed railway opening to connect even more cities across the nation.

This September, we can look forward to the opening of the Zhengzhou-Xuzhou High-speed Railway – a route that connects Chinas eastern and middle-western regions. With a travel distance of 362km between Zhengzhou and Xuzhou, the journey time will be just 80 minutes. This railway line will also significantly reduce travel time between Xi’an and Shanghai, cutting the journey from over 12 hours to just 6 hours for a distance of over 1500km.

We are excited to witness how such developments will continue to transform travel within China and improve accessibility for people across the country.
