Preliminary statistics from the Ministry of Transport show that from October 1st to 7th, the total volume of cross-regional personnel movement is expected to reach about 2.008 billion trips. Behind the booming travel is the Chinese railway that has accelerated: just on the eve of the National Day, the operational mileage of China's railways exceeded 160,000 kilometers, with high-speed railway operational mileage exceeding 46,000 kilometers, firmly holding the first place in the world.
