Weigong Fanghuali(魏公 · 芳华里) is a new commercial landmark located on Zhongguancun South Street in Haidian District, Beijing. It officially opened in September 2025 and sits right next to Weigongcun Station on Metro Line 4. The project features distinctive spaces such as a double-height sky atrium and a garden-style sunlit street, while its three original art installations have won the Sci-Fi Art Scene Innovation Award.It brings together diverse offerings including the first Beijing mall branch of the National Library’s Cultural & Creative Store, specialty cinemas, high-end dining, and more, catering to business banquets, trendy consumption, cultural socializing, and other functions. Through events like music festivals and book clubs, it has become a refined new social hub in Haidian and a youth-friendly commercial space.

I visited Fanghuali on October 31, 2025, for a meal and took the opportunity to explore the entire place. Personally, I’m thrilled to have such a unique leisure destination near my home in Haidian District. If you’ve ever wondered where to find trendy spots in Haidian — an area once better known for its “earthiness” — this is definitely worth a visit.
